Ghost Kitchens vs. Cloud Kitchens:

What is a Ghost Kitchen and what is Cloud Kitchen?  Well, frankly, who knows?   Across the web they are used interchangeably,  independently, and sometimes mixed and matched.  However, what I have found is that they are most consistently used when applied as below.

Ghost Kitchens (Brands): 

The Ghost Kitchen is most often associated with food brands.  Either a Single Brand or Multiple brands, prepared at in-house location(s) or through distributed Host Kitchen providers.  For example:  At this time, Ghost Kitchens Brands, is assembling multiple food brands to replace the McDonalds vacated within Walmart's.

Cloud Kitchens (Physical Space):

The Cloud Kitchen is most often associated with a physical space (a kitchen).  Either Single or Multiple Kitchens, encompassing one or more food brands (e.g. multiple leased kitchens within one facility).  For example:  CloudKitchens.com is a major provider of leased kitchens, creating opportunities across many cities.
